500 People To Attend Miles of Hope Spring Brunch, May 5, at the Grandview, Poughkeepsie
On May 5, 500 pink-clad people will gather at the Grandview for the Annual Miles of Hope Spring Brunch to honor and remember all those affected by breast cancer in the Hudson Valley.
“We have a record crowd coming this year and a Silent Auction with 2 grand prizes worth over $2500 each,” explained Miles of Hope Executive Director Pari Forood, pictured here with from l-r Laurie Schiavone, PF, and Brunch Chairman Lisa Arnoff.
Brunch participants will have the opportunity to support programs funded by the Foundation in various ways.
“Aside from the grand prizes, we will have a wonderful Silent Auction with items from area restaurants and stores, as well as a Giving Tree where donors can purchase an ‘ornament’ to donate directly to a patient in treatment for breast cancer,” said Lisa Arnoff, Brunch Chairman. “We will honor all Miles of Hope Event Chairmen, as well as the ‘Angels’ who have been nominated by breast cancer survivors,” added Ms. Forood.
