thank you Miles of Hope….my sister bought us bracelets some years ago, in honor of our mother, who died of BC in 1975……we’ve worn them for a long time……..6 long months ago, I was also diagnosed, and our bracelets became a daily thing……I bought 3 more, for my 2 daughters, and my best friend, who has been a huge support to me. SHe has accompanied me to doctors visits, and every single chemo appt. The day after Thanksgiving, in the mail I recieved a package from my sister…..another bracelet, but this one has a “survivor” charm on it…….I won’t put it on my wrist until this Thursday..upon completion of my 33rd, and final radiation treatment! At that moment, I will officially consider myself a survivor!!
