She has volunteered at this event every year, and she is an inspiration to everyone affected by breast cancer in the Hudson Valley.
“Connie Haven is another strong woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. She is a survivor and encourages anyone going through breast cancer treatment to stay positive and keep fighting,” Mrs. Decker said.
“With the support of family, friends and activities, I’ve been able to stay on a positive path. Sports, movies and books have been excellent outlets,” explained Mrs. Haven.
