All Events for Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation
Important Notice: Many wonderful companies and non-profits in the Hudson Valley conduct fundraising events and donate all or part of the proceeds to Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. Thank you! These events are structured and run by the individual organizations. Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation holds five major fundraising events per year: Hoops for Hope, the Annual Spring Brunch, the Family Fun Run, Goals for Hope and Walk for Hope (The Community Walk for Breast Cancer). All other events on this page are run by their respective organizations, who donate all or a portion of the money raised to Miles of Hope.

Come out and cheer for your favorite team! The Third Annual Miles of Hope Benefit Tournament will be hosted by the Poughkeepsie Women's Slow-Pitch Softball League on Saturday, October 2rd and Sunday, October 3rd (rain dates: 10/9 & 10/10). The games will run from approximately 10 AM until 6 PM. All proceeds will benefit the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation. Breast Cancer Fundraiser in Beacon |

 The Beacon Chamber of Commerce is organizing a number of events in the City of Beacon to help raise money for local cancer organizations, including Miles of Hope.
Events include:
Stiletto Stampede: A high-heeled co-ed race (about 150 yards) on Henry Street (Behind the Beacon Post Office). Participants pay $15 to enter and are encouraged to get as many people to sponsor them as possible. There will be prizes for winners as well as for “best of show”. Sure to be lots of fun!
Afternoon Stiletto After-Party: At Chill Wine Bar in Beacon, featuring the Costellos, for race participants and friends.
Power the Pink: Store owners are being asked to display lighted works of art (with at least one pink bulb) all along Main Street. The artworks will be raffled off to anyone who purchases a $5 ticket. There will be other raffles and Awareness sales taking place in participating stores on Main Street.
Cupcakes for Cancer: All along Beacon’s Main Street, cupcakes will be for sale in shops and restaurants, with proceeds going to local cancer groups.
Candlelight Walk: In the evening, everyone is encouraged to walk along Main Street with a pink candle in support of those undergoing treatment and as a remembrance to those who have lost the fight.
