“The Fun Run is in its 12th year, raising over $100,000 for Miles of Hope programs,” explained Race Chairman Lori Decker.
“Miles of Hope funds support services for people affected by breast cancer within the eight counties of the Hudson Valley,” added Executive Director Pari Forood. “The event committee is made up of volunteers, all dedicated to running and helping us help others.”
Photos from the event are on the Miles of Hope website milesofhope.org. Race times and photos are posted on the Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club website mhrrc.org.
Lori Decker and the Miles of Hope 5K Event Committee would like to thank all our fantastic sponsors, volunteers, vendors, and those who donated anything and everything (food, gift certificates, raffle items, etc.) to make our 10th anniversary a success. We raised almost $20,000, thanks to everyone who helped and participated. We would also like to thank the Town of Union Vale Town Board and Rob Mattes, Director of Parks & Recreation, for letting us use beautiful Tymor Park as our venue since 2009.
